


I think it might be wrong to humanise machinery, non-living constructions or items, or even other creatures. Is our desire to personify the things we hold dear a reflection of our inability to love anything but ourselves? I think it's easy to love something draped in our human projections, I think it takes far greater character to love something whilst accepting its inability to return any emotional gratification. A cynic may see this as proof of man's incapacity for selfless love.
