I had a surreal experience earlier. After a long day of long meetings I was feeling pretty tired. I'd just bought a new video game and was attempting to set up a game online with three of my friends. The bandwidth available via the campus internet proved to be a problem. I lay on my bed repeatedly pressing a single button, that passed through menus, conveniently selecting the correct options without the need to use the directional buttons. I started to drift as the tapping became more difficult, it felt like a pulse, although unlike my heart that functions automatically, my new beat was manual.
I slept for some time, awoke to a multitude of messages from my three friends. Again I attempted to join their game, tapping the same button I drifted off again. Unknown minutes passed and I awoke again, I looked at the clock on my phone which said something around 21:00. I looked again and it was around 19:30, I realised that I was looking at it for the first time. I stood up and my mind didn't feel right, I read a message from another friend and began to dress. I can't remember it fully, in part I was still dreaming, I was trapped between the two states and in this limbo I ascended to a higher consciousness. I lifted up a bag of crisps and realised it had no density, it felt too light and I felt like I had passed beyond matter. The crisps seemed alien as I knew I no longer needed to eat. Gods don't eat.

I drifted out of this walking dream and returned to ¿reality?
