Literary experiences of the past few weeks are as follows:

Really great book, I saw the film a while ago and was completely overwhelmed by the story of Chris McCandless. The book gives a more comprehensive account and exploration of the ideas the McCandless represents. Jon Krakauer looks at others who have undertaken similar expeditions to McCandless that ended in death. This book inspired the concept for my final foundation project.

Yeah. Incredible basically. If I was in a more depressed state of mind this book would've sent me into a binge of misanthropic cynicism. Luckily I'm very chipper right now. Morbid as hell. A rare and unapologetic look at the dark and selfish side of human behaviour. As well as (as the name might suggest) an exploration of coming to terms with one's own looming mortality.

And finally, I just started reading this:

I'm buying my first motorbike in October.
